Australian Camp Oven Festival

What started as a little friendly competition around the campfire has evolved to become one of Queensland’s flagship tourism events.

Located in Millmerran (82km from Toowoomba, Queensland), the Australian Camp Oven Festival offers a quirky program celebrating authentic Aussie traditions including camp oven cooking, damper throwing, billy boiling, bush poetry, country music and bush heritage displays.

  • Camping onsite is available for up to 1 week from 30th September through until 7th October (only). You may stay as long as you wish during that period.
  • Your campsite is sold along with festival entry tickets.
  • You may bring your dog/pet but there are rules to follow. Please see our FAQs page for more information.
  • No fires at your campsite. You may use an enclosed device (such as an OzPig etc ... ) with heat beads while you are in camp. Please see our FAQs page for more information.
